What difference does it make whether the answers have to be in at the end of next week, next month or yesterday? I have 12 left to answer and was just asking for some ideas. Why be so aggressive?
The point, Lapis, is that when someone on this site answers your request, then it is available to the world, including people like me, who want to actually complete the quiz without having to ask for help. Why do you need to finish it this week? Why don't you keep trying, and when you finally work out the answer give yourself a pat on the back.
No. Don't ask! If you are incapable of solving simple primary school questions, then just put the quiz in the bin, and let the rest of us get on with it.
but its still the asking for help with one when you need 11 more than makes no sense to me
getting help with one does not help you solve the other 11 unless I am missing something and we all have our own opinions but thats the one that gets me the most
Foolish of me to start such a furore. Have some of you got nothing better to do...
Smouse, this particular question was driving me nuts, (I stupidly thought that that was what this site was for -ideas/clues perhaps) the other 11, I will eventually answer without asking for help - heaven forbid!
And to DaiFawkes who was particularly sarcastic, the answer is SEPARATE TABLES - I didn't need your help after all and I won't have to throw the quiz in the bin!!!
I find all this chat from those who object to others seeking help on this quiz rather pompous. The quizzes are there for people to enjoy in whatever way they wish. It's a personal competition not a competition between all contenders.
So Quizmonkey, teacher1, DaiFawkes et al, why don't you stop looking at the answerbank? If you feel like you do,what are you doing here anyway? You aren't the Quiz police you know.
Well said, grumpygeezer (although you don't sound grumpy to me). I am 100% with you. People are free to enjoy the competition in whichever way they wish. It is slightly surprising how rude some people can be when protected by anonymity.
May I repeat my earlier observation? There are two possible answers to 7, although I think that the more obvious one is correct.
