The Club is now Open.

Good evening everyone and welcome once again to our club.

There will be a raffle tonight as usual, so any donations will be gratefully received.
So far we have:

3 bath cubes
a pair of bedsocks (hand knitted)
a tin of Zubes
and half a clothes rope

We are privileged this evening to be welcoming a guest speaker whose talk is entitled:

“Garden Gnomes, what do they do with all the fish ?”

Welcome, Suezy...wine is always most acceptable.

I do hope you are well ?
Good evening Milady, all the lovely nibbles are laid out on the buffet sideboard, this weeks guest tailcock is Pardiso*, a fresh and light drink for the spring and quite an afterkick.
You may have my athletic support late tomorrow afternoon, one careful owner, 26.2 miles on the clock.
Or maybe not.

Am not over 50 but clearly a spanner short of a tool-box - am I welcome?

And is this where the former visitors to the Shrubbery now gather?
For the ruffle I have

Fluorescent pink legwarmers
12 dolly pegs
3 odd jigsaw pieces
6 beer mats
And the peasant is back. Beware!
Hi ladyalex, not too bad at all thank you x
One is a Merlot, the other is a Shiraz
Are you French? we had a Frenchman used to hide in the shrubbery

Good evening, Big Mac. Of course you may join our club. Age is but a minor consideration.

Thank you also for your raffle contribution......I think.

We have no truck with the shrubbery.

Thank you so much for teh nibbles Mamyalynne. I think I would like to have a try of your latest creation. Pardiso* sounds marvellous.

I'd forgotten about the froggie, Mamya...is he still there, do you think ?
Here we go every one, Pardiso* all round, even little brollies too.
Good evening m,lady.
I would like to donate the other half of the clothes rope.
Question Author
You're spoiling us, Mamya....
I wouldn't bother putting one in Mike11111111111111's glass, he wouldn't appreciate it being a pheasant
Question Author
Welcome, daftgrandad, what a thoughtful contribution to the raffle.
Is there a Boy Scout in the house who can do the knotting ?
Got caught poaching rabbits from next door's estate. Got three sessions in the pillory and two of being whipped through the village at the tail of the cart horse. My arse isn't as sore now, though, so I'm back up to my old tricks.
Question Author
Thought it must be something like that, Mike111111111111

Perhaps Matron can help with some arnica for your sore spots ?
Well I would not give a pheasant an umbrella, am not that silly.

Poached rabbit great!
Question Author
Sorry, Mamya, didn't mean to doubt you in any way.

Is poached rabbit similar to jugged hare ?
Ooh lovely cocktails :)
*Passes around crisps, peanuts and popcorn*
