In Milady's absence may I welcome all members old and new, to an evening of chat and fun, in view of the nuptials and holiday mood, tonight's nibbles are a right royal picnic.

Guest tailcock is the 'Palace peck x' a right regal number.

For the ruffle I have :

Box of confetti
pink plastic tiara
one silk glove

Petal sends her apologies, as she is somewhat rattled after a hectic day, She has however contributed 3 silver table settings & some sherry truffles, how she got those out f the Palace I have no idea.

Evening everyone, no left overs here either, but I do have a Royal Wedding tea towel for the ruffle and one of those cardboard union jack periscopes. Good for peeping over or under tables!

What wonderful contributions, evening everyone.

Tailcock recipes are closely guarded.

Little Leo is quite fine thank you Alex, yummy mime sausages.
hello 'i have some leftover cross eyed buns but if they are too hard you can make them into croutons for your soup, also some pheasant pate on toast, wild scottish salmon terrain, and some brambles,
Thirty secs in the microwave slinky and those cross-eyed buns will be as good as new.
Alex, not come across mime sausages before. Are they vegetarian, or even vegan?
If we're really clever DaisyN we could drink tailcocks from the horseshoe. Cheers.
Kate, I love your cross-eyed buns, I have been saying that ever since you first posted it - I will never look a hot cross bun in the eye again!

I thought they were part of the entertainment like 'Bip'
Quick poem for you:

He didn't like the casserole,
And he didn't like my cake,
He said my biscuits were too hard,
Not like his mother used to make,
I didn't perk the coffee right,
He didn't like the stew,
I didn't mend his socks,
The way his mother used to do,
I pondered for an answer,
I was looking for a clue,
Then I turned around and smacked him one,
Like his mother used to do.
lol boxtops, wait til you taste my old age cake we have at parties,
Sure they will be delicious. This tailcock is.
I have some WillsKate bunting (only once used), half a chocolate swish roll and for and for the ruffle a commemorative mug and matching coaster. Also some party poppers (not party poopers) if you are happy that they won't frighten the animals.
could i have a tailcock to toast the happy couple?i had to bring my dog again i hope you dont mind,i'll tie him up in the outdoors gazebo in the upper north garden at the bottom of the faraway field,he should'nt be any bother.

Sackville our menagerie has nerves of steel, with the bewildered lot nextdoor.

This is turning into a great party.
Can I have one of those tailcocks please. I'll have it served in one of those commemoration mugs if you don't mind. That way I won't have to keep getting up to go to the serving table.
Would anyone mind, hic, singing the national anthem with me? Does everyone have a glass?
Love the poem Starbuckone.
On you feet everyone please, just for a minute.

God save our gracious Queen.......
