And we're off to a shaky start this week - I'm posting early because shortly I'll be shutting down and going off-air as there's a fairly hefty thunderstorm heading our way ... typical, Spring is here !!
Typical little bunch of link words for us - plenty of choices to go with them, we have -
CLOCK
COOK
SNOW
STAMP
As always, everyone is very welcome to join in - you have till midnight Sunday to post your entry and I'll hope to have the results fairly early Monday morning.
Short, sharp and shiny .... I know, so Good Luck to all and I'll catch up with you when the ruckus has died down
Afternoon, skz, hope your anticipated midnight storm, if it happened, was not too bad. I see the weather with you just now is "fine and clear" with a temperature of 15.7 - which is slightly warmer than here at the moment!
Now to the links
was wondering where you'd got to, Strix - busy day yesterday ??
yes our storm didn't quite pan out but better to be safe than fried !! It rumbled around through the night but really nothing to get excited about and today has been beautiful for Father's Day
Royal Show has started, Tony goes down Tuesday to sash the Costume Class winners, but it's really lost a lot of it's appeal - lots less stock and way tooooo many show bags and rides and exhorbitant costs !!
Yes, very busy - I had to collect the young master from his friend's mother's house up near London (he had been for a week with the same friend at their house in Portugal - spoilt brat!).
And then all the usual Saturday lessons/liveries/visitors etc.
Know what you mean by the "fashion" (oops, historical costume) side saddle classes.
We had a postponed (by rain) one here last Sunday. All ages from 6 to 66 all trumped up to the nines looking daggers at each other and muttering through clenched teeth how nice each other looks!
