The Club is now Open.

Welcome once again to the Mad over Fifties Club for a night of unalloyed pleasure.
No doubt there will be at least one ode, lots of delicious comestibles and sufficient alcohol to float a battleship.
And that's before we get on to the excellent conversation , witty repartee and the holy grail of all club events, the drawing of the raffle.

Tonight's prizes so far include:

two rain mates (pink spotty ones)
a packet of Fishermen's Friends
a pair of flip flops, one orange, one green (totally non-sectarian )
and
a loofah

You could be mistaken your Maj, Spot isn't at all easily lead by cats and crocs, I very much doubt whether he could be tempted by their shenanigans
he's a bit of a puritan you see. Very high minded, totally unlike the llama who has tried just about every vice and temptation known to man/llamas
Question Author

Quality control, you know. Must be sure that all tailcocks meet our exacting standards.
I don't have a flag on, I would never have a flag on, I hate flags, I detest flags, flags are evil and awful, they wrap around you and ..flag..you.
Now bunting is a different matter, I do love a good bunt up.
