Tonight's buffet is a simple affair (been very busy) an assortment of open sandwiches, mixed salads and home made coleslaw. Dessert is a fruits of the forest pavlova.

Tonight's Tailcock is Wow, lively and not to be forgotten in a hurry.

I don't bring Rofl prizes tonight (shall explain soon) but....for each male a Trophy engraved to their particular talent - 'Best Bard', 'Plumber par Excellence' etc.
All the ladies have a hand tied bouquet.

I have a small announcement to make - please don't take this as a flounce of any kind, ever since the Club began I have loved my involvement and in truth it got me through many a dark lonely weekend, but our lives are ever changing and I feel that the changes in mine do not allow me to be as hands on as much as I would like. I would like to spend a bit more time with Alfie and of course my family.

I know any decision re the continuation of the Club as a whole belongs to LadyAlex and hope she understands my reasons here, if it were to continue, then I would love to pop by for a drink now and then - just wondered whether like many a good sit com, we have run our course. Would be sad for it to became routine and repetitive.

Your thoughts and input are welcome and my apologis to Milady for doing this at what I know is a difficult time for her.

In light of Matron's news, I wonder if now is a good time for me to put forward my resignation from the post of Butler?

I too have enjoyed my time here with some wonderful people, but am increasingly busy & don't feel able to guarantee my presence every week.

It would indeed be very pleasant to be able to call in for a drink as a guest occasionally :-)
