Mad Over Fifties Club

I'm having a very frustrating time with my computer this evening and all the delights of this evening's meeting has been lost by my computer so, in order to get this meeting of the Mad Over Fifties Club underway I'm taking a short cut.
The Tailcock: Summer Rain
Hot Plate Special: Spicy Spanish Chicken with patatas bravas and allioli
The Pudding Trolley: Crema Catalana (Spanish version of creme caramel)
The Minstrels will be playing Madrigals and Fugues in the gallery and later on they have threatened to give us their take on the Greatest hits of Jon Bon Jovi
As always the hot tub bubbles, the bungee is nice and bouncy, the moat is still full of piranhas, (the bungee has been moved to it no longer bounces into the moat - elf and safety) the grounds of the Towers are open to all members of MOFC, as are the rowing boats on the lake, the games room is available to all as is the swimming pool in the basements.
Since we didn't hold the rofl last week, all prizes have been "rolled" over for tonight's draw.
A warm welcome awaits all who dare enter these portals

Two extra prizes for the roffle from me, one H7 head light bulb ( blown ) suitable for a Saab 9-3 and one pair of Marigold rubber gloves ( one of them holed ) which my aunty pretty much forced me to wear this afternoon whilst clearing a part of the guttering on her house of leaves and other assorted gutter blocking crap.

Evening nungate and queenie. Sorry you are beset with problems.
Summer Rain sounds appropriate! We have had more cold wind than rain.
Cema Catalana is a lovely choice.
For the rifle I have brought, a toffee hammer, a block of cinder toffee (recipe included), a nail brush, half a dozen one inch nails, a jar of anchovies and a fish knife.

With a sort of recognition to Keats:
An evening blow: the great Igor drinking still
Above the staggering Minty, her thighs caressed
By her pink thong, her nape caught in Tone's bill,
He holds her helpless breast upon his breast.
How can those terrified goatish fingers push
The feathered glory from her loosening thighs?
And how can her body, laid in that moatish rush,
But feel the strange heart beating where it lies?
A shudder in the Tone's loins engenders there
The broken wall, the sliding roof and Nungate tower
And The Editor wasted.
Being so coven caught up,
So mastered by the brute savagery of the AB air,
Did Minty put on her undywear with Tony power
Before the indifferent Igor could let her drop?
From Roof to Moat and a Summer Rain in hand.

Good evening nungate and Queenie....how are you tonight...excuse me if I wince hobble and don't sit tonight....after being attacked by the killer piranhas last week I spent an uncomfortable few days in the hospital for tropical diseases...attending to my many cuts bites and abrasions on my ....erm...nether regions...the indignity of it all...they cut my sparkly off...my best one !....no no not the sparkly I wailed ..but...no good ..gone !....my behookie turned an 'orrible shade of puce and I was rushed into isolation ...I think it turned to denghi denghi...there followed a procession of student doctors..never having seen such like before...prodding , pushing....and the food ! Not a volly vont in sight...I thought I'd starve 'till...Percy the porter took pity..he recognised me from the old days in the Liverpool empire !....he kept the fish suppers coming along with a few refreshments...and I was finally released....escaped... late last night after Percy and I took refuge on the roof with a bottle..or two....of buckie...couldn't find the lackey band to get down....slid down a pipe and legged it !...had to pretend I was Muslim in that huge white cotton nightie to get on the number 43 bus home...Percy said he'd cover for me and put an old dummy they use for CPR practice in my bed.....might have noticed me missing by now ?...so as you can imagine..I'm starving....Igor a bucket of that summer rain please and a few vollys....must see belle about a new sparkly....have come...commando....tonight..maybe Tony will put some cream on my cuts ...is he here yet ?..last I heard he was in THAT wummins barn...Well he's in for a shock when he finds his still at home !...oh thanks Igor..slurp....
