Apologies for being a little late this evening. I was out busy counting butterflies for the 'Big Butterfly Count'. There is still time to join in as it continues until Aug 11th.

The game has now closed and I can now reveal that Baron Brian's chosen links were:

You may have been expecting x-ray to be setting this month's challenges, but as explained on Friday night, x-ray unfortunately had to decline so beejay took up the BATON.

Tearinghair was first out of the shrubbery and claimed 2 points for ENGINE ROOM with Pixie373 in time for a bonus too.

Next down was JAIL BIRD when second player Rockfordill used his 'get-out-of-jail-free' card. Evsajo, Brenden, Strix and Fordward were also in time for the bonus on this one. 2 points each.

9:03 and Evsajo also opted for BATON TWIRLER for another 2 points. Pixie was also in time for a bonus on this one too.

The final link only managed to hold out until 9:06 when cliffyg mastered the knack of climbing a ROPE LADDER.

With 5 double-hitters and two of them with bonus points, I have to declare joint hotshots this weekend.

Wow, I am joint Hot shot of the week !! That's a turn up for the books !!! lol. Strix, have you never seen a marching band ?The person at the front is quite often the baton twirler.!

We also have a great crop (what is the collective noun for butterflies?) this year. I think they'll be keeping a low profile today, though, as it's tipping it down.
