Hey folks the club is open, come on in!
On tonight's agenda we have the Minstrels back again in the gallery with the usual selection of madrigals and fugues, local favourites, the Tone Deafs are playing in the ballroom, tonight they are giving us a selection of covers from the 1970's (break out the loon pants and tanks tops everybody!) Also for members entertainment, the hot tub is bubbling away on the north tower, the bungee is awaiting it's first vic... volunteer.... the racing track is ready for use as are the rowing boats down by the lake. Tonight's tailcock will be the "Hooray Henry" an interesting brew with more than a hint of ginger! Our hot plate special is meatballs in a red wine sauce with pasta, and on the pudding trolley we have tiramisu, as well as the usual selection of canopies and volley vonts. For our members further entertainment, I have to announce the opening of the Towers' gym! Situated in the cellars near the indoor swimming pool (cossies are available for those without one)
Please remember try not to upset Sir Cumference the Towers ghost (doesn't like too much noise) In view of the inclement weather here at the Towers the games room is all set up for our guests.
Anyone wishing to stay over please see Belle in the vestibule to arrange a suite.
For the rofl tonight I have:
1 cross stich kit, half done, chart lost
pack of blunt needles
2 odd socks
jar of assorted buttons

A warm welcome awaits all who dare enter these portals

Evening DT, so your fat and full now ?.
Question Author
Hey there DT, sounds like you had a pleasant evening, nice to see you (in a manner of speaking)

We have the OTs coming to see Mum next week, will let you know how things go.
Wouldnt say fat and full - had to watch the wine as I was the 'chaffer'....
Ah I see DT, this chaffering can be a pain.
Question Author
What you need is a teetotaller for your evenings out DT - I could lend you best beloved for these occasions but it might be a bit out of his way (he's always been popular at parties!)
I bet....the same with the ex; most useful....
Have I missed all the fun? I drifted off there!
I am about to drift off too, Mammar....
Well nungates drawn the rooffle Mammar, check yer numbers, you never know what you may have won !.
Question Author
Not much really Mammar, I lost broadband briefly, and Queenies lost in her book (again)
We did hold the rofl though
That's just about it, oh, wait we did briefly look into some of the seamier side of Scotland's capital
snigger she used to be Snow White but then she drifted ....

sorry!
Oh dear. I think I'm going to take a tip from QOM and others and pick up my book. Unlike them, I am in 1356, surrounded by French soldiers who are being well thumped by us English bowmen.
You mean to say that you went sight seeing around the Wee Fat Haggis's breeks. That definitely is the seedier side of the Auld Grey Toon.
So nite nite all and to misquote the dear ole Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy "thanks for all the Tiramisu"
X x
Shall be off me thinks, to the land of nod. Don't pass go, don't listen to the radio (4) and don't read. I'll collect the £s though.

Night all......
G'night, Mammar sleep well.
G'night to you to DT.
Question Author
Oh so much to ask.
What's the book Mammar? I'm interested

No, not the Heid Haggis, we were talking more about the "working girls" and dear old Dora from Danube Street
Question Author
'Night DT, sweet dreams
Shall I assemble the staff Madame?

Frank! don't do that...
