Good evening and welcome to tonight's meeting of AB's Mad Over Fifties Club. Sadly, Queenofmean sends her regrets as she will be unable to join us this evening, due to serious computer problems.
Tonight's Tailcock will be the "Barca Blaster" (we're playing a BIG game tonight and we need the extra support) For our hot plate special we have resurrected that old favourite "Potage Bonne Femme" (you have no idea how difficult it is to locate a Good Woman these days!) served with lots of fresh crusty bread (and butter if desired) of course, as always there is a variety of canopies, volly vonts, and horses doovers, on tonight's banquet table. On the pudding trolley we have Lemon meringue pie, with whipped cream, also on offer is a delicious fruit salad.
The Minstrels are already up in the gallery warming up to give us their usual rendition of madrigals and fugues, while down in the Ballroom we have the Ecclefecchan Girl Pipers playing a selection of show tunes .. interesting
The fires are burning brightly in the hearths, the games room is ready for use, in the Library there is a fabulous selection of books and all the latest Magazines and Periodicals, including a copy of "Plumbing and Crochet Weekly". Up on the North Tower the hot tub is bubbling away and the mini bar had been refilled. The bungees is ready to use, just bear in mind to aim away from the moat as the piranhas do bite! It is possible for a stroll around the grounds as we have installed some outside lighting, just be careful to stay on the lighted paths. The indoor swimming pool is available for member's use (cossies can be borrowed).

For tonight's rofl I offer:
Queenie's laptop (broken....)
my brother (lazy oik and has totally p**sed me off)
Athletico Madrid (they are totally P***ing me off tonight)
Saturday Night TV - thank goodness for Spanish Football and MOFC!

not sure who has rattled my cage tonight but consider it rattled!

however,
A warm welcome awaits all who dare enter these portals tonight

Hope you receive it soon then, Queenie.

Constantly, Daisy !.
Queenie, mine went doo lally tap a few months ago (MSI) and I had excellent service from them. They couriered it there and back (time specified) fixed it, no charge.
Many thanks Igor. Are you working unaided tonight? Is Frank still with you?
Bommer, please introduce yourself, always a pleasure to meet new people.
I can recommend the Potage.
May I indulge in some Igor?
Frank is having an early night tonight Madame Daisy. He spent a long time this afternoon chopping vegetables for the soup, of which I shall bring you a bowl presently.
Vegetable chopping can be so therapeutic. Beats cleaning out the fridge which was how I spent the morning.
Hows Frank doing with the minion training these days, Igor ?.
He is doing very well Tony sir, he has a diploma! Thank you for asking.
We are still trying to decide whether he should return to the Towers on a permanent basis, or have him return to Minion School for a Masters Certificate

I used to love to chop veggies for soups and so on, have difficulty holding a knife these days which is the reason Queenie does all my cooking prep - I can only manage to put together a dish if she is there to do my prep work for me, I "assemble" dishes these days rather than cook them
Did you know the French word mignon means cute? Almost the same pronunciation.
I obviously don't have enough to do.
Bucket please.
A masters certificate !, Frank could go all the way and become a lecturer at Minion School, what an honour for nungate towers that would be.
Yes, but you do your best I'm sure nungate, a well assembled meal always impresses me anyway.
Question Author
That's a possibility Tony but then Igor would be minionless! And Minion school would have another lecturer
Had a headmistress who insisted that assembly was the most important part of the day. :)
Question Author
Mmm you could be right there Tony but I should always do the seasoning, what Queenie thinks is too much is never enough, she just has to learn to do the seasoning properly and my days in the kitchen would be over .... She thinks I use too much but I like my food to be seasoned but not over salted - there is never as cruet on my dining table. People who salt their food before even tasting it make me mad!! (personal bug bear of mine)
Madame insists that Breakfast is the most important time of day
You would probably pay him more than he would get as a lecturer if you include his board, lodging, heating and laundry. Could he cope with all that marking?
Question Author
In the long run it would be cheaper for him to be a lecturer but Igor would miss him. He has longed for a minion for centuries ..... I did mention that he is an Ancient family Retainer didn't I?
I think madame is correct about breakfast, Igor.

But what if Frank gained a professor ship and became head of minionship though, nungate.
Question Author
Hardly bear thinking about!! poor Igor
I did mention that he is an Ancient family Retainer didn't I?

Yes you did, nungate, but you never said just how ancient a retainer Igor is !.
