Good evening and welcome to tonight's meeting of AB's Mad Over Fifties Club. Sadly, Queenofmean sends her regrets as she will be unable to join us this evening, due to serious computer problems.
Tonight's Tailcock will be the "Barca Blaster" (we're playing a BIG game tonight and we need the extra support) For our hot plate special we have resurrected that old favourite "Potage Bonne Femme" (you have no idea how difficult it is to locate a Good Woman these days!) served with lots of fresh crusty bread (and butter if desired) of course, as always there is a variety of canopies, volly vonts, and horses doovers, on tonight's banquet table. On the pudding trolley we have Lemon meringue pie, with whipped cream, also on offer is a delicious fruit salad.
The Minstrels are already up in the gallery warming up to give us their usual rendition of madrigals and fugues, while down in the Ballroom we have the Ecclefecchan Girl Pipers playing a selection of show tunes .. interesting
The fires are burning brightly in the hearths, the games room is ready for use, in the Library there is a fabulous selection of books and all the latest Magazines and Periodicals, including a copy of "Plumbing and Crochet Weekly". Up on the North Tower the hot tub is bubbling away and the mini bar had been refilled. The bungees is ready to use, just bear in mind to aim away from the moat as the piranhas do bite! It is possible for a stroll around the grounds as we have installed some outside lighting, just be careful to stay on the lighted paths. The indoor swimming pool is available for member's use (cossies can be borrowed).

For tonight's rofl I offer:
Queenie's laptop (broken....)
my brother (lazy oik and has totally p**sed me off)
Athletico Madrid (they are totally P***ing me off tonight)
Saturday Night TV - thank goodness for Spanish Football and MOFC!

not sure who has rattled my cage tonight but consider it rattled!

however,
A warm welcome awaits all who dare enter these portals tonight

Don't look at me!
wipes evidence of lemon meringue pie from his face

Any buckets need refilled? More potage?
Question Author
There is someone around the Towers who is very partial to Lemon meringue
pie
Mmmmmmm.
Yes please Igor your secret is safe with me
Have just learned about Tony's cat.
Question Author
Was it Tony's cat who ate the pie then?
If only....
more cats? there are more than enough cats around the Towers as it is Madame. Do we need any more?
Of course it could be a business opportunity, a Cattery Madame!

Shall I gather the staff together?
Question Author
That will be fine Igor. A cattery business, interesting, but I do not think so, the feline residents here at the Towers think they already own the place and adding a few more might not be a good idea
nungate, I said on anothe thread that our cat Daisy has a boyfriend that I call Dave.
They could tickle for the pirahnas
Pete!
Question Author
I think the piranhas might end up "tickling" them Daisy.

I hope she has been "done" Tony because if there are kittens do not tell Queenie - another kitten and her father would flip!! Teddy was only accepted because I told him he was mine! Did you know I am going to be down your way sometime in July? Herself is meeting her friend again for the GP in Cardiff and I'm going too, but I'm not attending the GP MOFC will be coming from a hotel in Cardiff that night (I think) anyway we are picking up her friend and dropping off .... so I get to see the Midlands!!
Pete, yes Daisy, I got mixed up there, Dave is Pete's pal that also hangs around.
Yes nungate, Daisy has been errrrrrrm done !.

Hey, nungate so your driving down to gods country in July, we could have a drink then. Don't know what the tailcocks are like in Bilston though !.
Question Author
That would be nice, it all depends on what's happening with herself and her friend. She's planning to stay down there for a day or two after the GP so she can go to speedway meetings down there. Best beloved and I will take (I hope) a leisurely drive home. We can sort things out much nearer the time though, I just thought I'd mention it
Yes we'll have a natter about it closer to time, nungate.
Calumny! I ain't bin dun.
Bilston? Den of iniquity.
Question Author
Well I'm looking forward to it. Queenie showed me the hotel - looks fab! Normally I wouldn't entertain such a thing but I decided that I would go along just for the ride and a stay in a five star hotel - couldn't care less about the speedway, so it'll be just me, room service and a fabulous hotel room - colour me happy!
Question Author
There's a Bilston up here too Daisy, used to be a big mining area .... is it a safe assumption that you do not particularly care for the midlands Bilston?
Too right nun.
Best hotel in Cardiff, The Angel.
Tony, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy From Company B please.
