Thanks for that scorpiojo, the two you've given me do fit ( l is the linking letter) however no1 I think starts with 'r'and no 4 starts with s and ends with s(5 letters)
This is why the suggestions, be them good, don't fit. Just about given up with this but when I can't solve a puzzle it annoys me and I keep going back to it!!
