Its Now Official, Farage Isn't A Politician !
Anybody who listed to "Any Questions" last night on Radio Four, will have heard Farage frantically deny that he is a politician !
Not just a not very good, failed politician, but not a politician at all !
The studio audience, together with Dimbleby, and the rest of the panel were completely amazed at this statement. Unfortunately, everybody was laughing so much, we couldn't hear what Farage said he was instead !
So.... I throw the question open to everybody here on AB. If he is right, and he isn't a politician, exactly what is he ?

Although I will concede it was hard to hear what he was trying to say above the boorish bellowing of Dumbleby and the hand picked morons that pass for an audience.

I don't think "failed banker" is quite correct, baza.
Mr Farage never has been a banker (failed or otherwise). He left Dulwich College and went straight to work, turning down the usual route of university. He was a very successful commodities broker working principally on the London Metal Exchange. Initially, he joined the American commodity brokerage firm Drexel Burnham Lambert, transferring to Credit Lyonnais Rouse in 1986.He joined Refco in 1994, and Natexis Metals in 2003.
