I have been pretty healthy up until now apart from severe OA in both knees. However, I have recently been diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation (about 2 months ago). I am now on Beta blockers , Digoxin and Eliquis to thin the blood. As a consequence of the Eliquis I may no longer take Naproxin - which I never took regularly - but I did find helpful occasionally. I now rely on Paracetemol and codeine. My Doctor once suggested Morphine but I did not want that. Is there anything else I might consider? I am 85. Thanks.
You are 85 years of age with atrial fibilatian probably due to ischaemic heart disease and clearly you are having pain...probably from arthritis.
My advice, is take whatever drug eases your pain, if it is Naproxin or any other anti inflammatory then it would be fine with me.
