Brandy in mince pies

I always make my own mince pies and normally put a couple of tablespoons of brandy into the mincemeat (a large jar) a couple of days beforehand. However, I am currently 7 months pregnant so should I be leaving the brandy out? I know alcohol often gets burned off in the cooking process but is this the same if soaking fruit in it first? I obviously don't want to do anything that may harm the baby but I'm not sure if such a small amount will do any damage?

Any advice welcome!

Thanks

It should mostly boil off in the cooking and the residual traces in a single mince pie will be so small as to be harmless.

Tip for next year - add the brandy when making the mincemeat, a couple of months in advance.
