I do think she's made an absolute prawn of herself - and has been doing so for years.

She's seen the writing on the wall I'd imagine. The people of Scotland are sick of one issue politics.
Good riddance; let's hope the new leader isn't some similarly obsessed drongo.
Why would she not want to spend more time with her family ? .
Best news ever
Maybe bobbisox is getting at the way many people give that as the reason even when its sometimes clearly not the only reason
Question Author
I’ll say it now she’s gone,
She’s anti English
She’d do anything to go against Westminster
She was obsessive and lost sight of anything than independent Scotland
Question Author
Yes I was bobbinW
No use asking me.She was no more competent than the last few prime ministers we have had.Charismatic certainly, but no more than Boris Johnson was.
"I’ll say it now she’s gone,
She’s anti English"

Do you have an example of that?
She has been on the way oot for a good while the latest gender hoo has , her own Mps turning against her and police enquiries etc off you go dearie
Hoo ha
Good riddance.
She ,as Bobbisox said, was all about her own ambition, NOT speaking for a nation on most matters
‘ her mps turning against her ‘ . Maybe mMM will supply an example of that also ?
You clearly pay no heed to parliamentary reports
I am waiting for her news conference later to say she is quitting because of the English government. She will have to blame them for her misgivings.
Lol why but of course..head in sand to the end
Come back Ken McAllister..all is forgiven
I’ll miss her Scots are famous for their comedy
I am not a big fan of hers but she has been a huge figure in British politics and First Minister if I'm not mistaken for 9 years and counting: Thatcher lasted 11 years and Tony Blair 10, so I am not surprised she might want to depart the scene soon.
