I've never believed in Capital Punishment myself but if I were one of those parents I'd want to kill her with my bare hands. I just don't know how you would ever get over something like that. It would torture you until your dying day.
Her parents live right by my parents. Literally a 2-minute walk away.
Sorry, DT, yes, six cases they could not reach a verdict on. They are unable to move on - having said that, I would never be able to move on in life, verdict or no verdict.
These were such senseless acts. I can't get my head around it. :-(
Absolutely heartbreaking. This evil woman deserves the strongest sentence the law can give, preferably a whole-life term with never a chance of parole.
Crime is not my field, but the number of convictions - 7 murders and 6 attempts (and attempts attract the same sentence as the full offence), the fact that they were on children, the fact that they were premeditated are all within the criteria. I would also suggest that fact that she was trusted to care for those babies aggravates matters. I'd be surprised if it wasn't a whole life order.
