I know the line, I didn't realise it was about boxing. I just though it was about his regretful life choices (I would've guessed boxing though)

It was about the fact that Brando's character was coerced by his crooked older brother to throw a fight for gambling reasons. This meant he could never be a clean fighter after getting caught throwing the fight.

At least the wrong answer makes sense in conrext of the question, I didn't know it though I could have narrowed it down to three films.

How boring it would be if we all thought the same quotes were important. Some people want a very controlled, homogenous world, the majority want some variety.
