i have already answered the question about primarily agility, it shoud have been

1 january activity for mad scots [5,4]

the answer starts with either j ,k, or l

what was the primarily agility answer?

Loony dook

Hops - my January answer starts with F

I would agree with Loony Dook though I'm not mad enough to do this.

Nor am I!

hello, the winner, the answer is acroski for primary agility etc.

hello to you tuvok, you have gone wrong somewhere loony dook fits in

thank you hops.

Thank you hops but I think the respect should be given to the quizsetters (all of them) by not asking on quizzes after just a couple of days. The winner is usually drawn from the hat and not awarded to the first to finish it.

All this mad rush to potentially win £10...is it worth the stress?

My copy of the Quiz only came today.

hello, again madgeorge i do these quizzes because i am now retired and i like to keep my brain ticking, sometimes i can answer all the questions but when i can't i like to ask for help on an answerbank site, i always send the answers in with the relevant donation, it's as simple as that really.

Question Author

oh i almost forgot i think you will find that most of the quizsetters now understand that the more exposure they can achieve on sites like this one is more advantages than not, there is nothing better than advertising your quiz on sites like this, i spent a career in advertising and i know the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages, some people still think that asking questions early is a bad thing too but when you are stuck you are stuck, it does not matter how long you have been stuck or that someone may have started the quiz either earlier or later than you, there is only one closing date

^^ Agree with the above.  There are questions being asked just now for a quiz ending 26th October and no comments made!

I think there is a world of difference between advertising a quiz and asking questions therefrom.

I think this was discussed a while ago on this site after someone who asked question claimed they were helping!

I think you overestimate the power of advertising. In a straw poll at our quiz night there wasn't a single person who watched adverts on tv, youtube, music sites etc unless they had to.

All were skipped without exception.

Hazlinny...

If I picked up on all quiz questions that were asked too early, I would never have a life.

The moans that support early asking seem to come from people who do not enter the quizzes.

^^  I enter most of the quizzes which appear on here but I don't ask for answers - just work them out with the help of Google.
I think Answerbank is here for people to answer (if they wish) and not get involved with when a quiz closes, etc.

Loony dook is not a term used in my part of Scotland - I suspect that must be a central belt term.

I know of Loony Dook as a New Year's Day event where people swim in the River Forth at Queensferry.
