Would I be correct if I gave as an answer to local puzzle that Queen Anne was the first queen of the United Kingdom?

The thing is ..when she does go ..it will be another scenario just like Queen Victoria ..an ageing son on the throne like Edward V11 who came to the throne aged fifty nine.Charles is pushing 60 and if she reigns for another ten years he will be sixty eight when he ascends the throne and if she lives even longer he could well be a very old man before he ascends or even dead ! Mind you with the government we have at the moment we will probably have a president before long or that's what our Tony would like to be !!

Poorclare: I think I will have to start borrowing history books from the library instead of my usual mystery ones. Course most history is a mystery to me anyway so perhaps I would enjoy reading about it.
