surely there are better things to get stressed over
surely unless you have any health problems it is probably nerves don't worry try amans best friend for a bit while shes away
sounds like you've had a bad day babydust dont fret about it im sure some of us dont realise how important manners are to some people

think its just coz ppl assume no-one will look at the tread any longer, or they simply forget! a HUUUGGGGEEEEE THANK YOU to anyone that has answered any of my questions. xxxx
manners are free... we dont have to pay to use the words please and thank you.....

im with baby dust on this one.

if a person is in genuine need of an answer, then i would expect some gratitude for time and effort taken to research and reply....
I always try and remember to say thank you but sometimes i dont go on the computer for days at a time so i forget.
thanx all for your answers to all my intelligent, well thought out questions since Ive been on answerbank the last 8 or 9 months
It's not worth getting het up over babydust, just put it down to bad manner's.
Come on own up who has rattled babydusts cage??
you have given me answers before babydust
But I think I always said thank you
and after that outburst I always will in the future
surely if it's not a question then they don't need to respond.

You should type (insert answer here) ... is this ok?

Anyone with more than 1 brain cell would think, ''ah, a question ... I'll answer that''.

i also try and say thanks to evrybody but im at work and sometimes its difficult if i were online at home which i willbe next week then id have more time and not be worrying! sorry !!
I agree with you 100% babydust manners are free and in an ideal world there would be no need for this post. However, it could be that they are fed up with getting stupid, unhelpful and useless answers or having their thread hijacked, so they just think 'oh well, it's gone past the point where a thank you would be noticed (perhaps they signed off and didn't sign on again until the following day).
I'm sure we are all aware that there are some questions that are just designed to get a rise out of people, so even though they appear genuine at the time they are just a wind up ~ hence no thanks proffered.
I do find it nice if I check back over my answers, and I find a Thank You post, and sometimes even ***

But I dont lose sleep over it, if no ThankYou post is there

sometimes some people put Thanks In Advance which is ok

The thing I dont like are the posts that dont even form a proper question....
Eg....

-
Music?

and thats all you get.

Ah well.
