Surely a 30-32 fits you? Im size 12 and have diesel jeans with 32" waist.

heh ive measured my hip area (well just above) and its a 35" im sure jean sizes are different :)

I thought it would be going round your waist? Surely it would just ride up if you wore it round your hips?

A size 8 waist is 24". They will fit you.
