Didn't Maddie just wander off drugged up on sleeping pills?

If have read lots of opinions on whether the Mc Canns killed her or hid her body, and that they do come across guilty. But I think they look guilty because they left her alone many nights crying by the sounds of it, they didn't use the baby sitting service available at the hotel, they also decided to give her drugs to help her sleep so she would not cry out like other nights.

As a result they came back to find her missing, she could have wandered off drugged up and drowned, fallen down and hole/new building foundation which were all round their hotel. Or she was picked up by someone who wanted her for sexual reasons, to sell her as a child slave, or for childless parents who cannot have children. Maddie may have just been a financial gold mine drugged up and easy to grab.

As a result they are responsible for her going missing because they left her and drugged her. She just left the apartment to find her parents as the drugs had altered her thoughts she forgot to stay in the apartment like she was told. Just like being drunk really she wandered off not know what she was doing or where she was going. The Mc Cann must realise this is the case and that is why they have pushed the fact someone has taken her from the room, because they do not want to admit to themselves or others that they were responsible for her leaving the apartment and therefore it is all their fault. If they admitted to leaving and drugging they might face prision, losing their highly paid jobs, losing their home etc and the twins going into care, they weighed up the options...that's what doctors do!

Do people agree this might be the case, or am I wrong?

There is no proof they drugged her,the only way that could be proved is if and when her body is found. I agree they should never have left her but I am not sure they did anything to her. I will wait until the true facts of this case are discovered before jumping to conclusions.

I don't know if Madeleine was drugged, although I have read articles where it suggested this. Their crime was to leave 3 tiny children alone in their beds, in a strange country. Whilst going out with their friends to enjoy themselves.

There are so many unanswered questions to the whole thing.

Both parents are doctors so would know exactly how much sedative to give a child without harming her but keep her fully asleep. This "theory" that she was drugged and wandered off is a bit lame and also the insinuation that they accidentally overdosed her is idiotic for the same reason.
The press are making stuff up as they go just to sell papers...and the Portugese press appear to be moronic in what they have written,they'd have been sued for writing that stuff in a UK paper.

I wish people would stop posting questions with their "opinions" on what happened. At this time no-one knows what the hell happened but hopefully with the fullness of time the truth will out. The British press in particular have, in their inimitable way, listened to an reported on hearsay and chinese whispers.

People judge Kate and Gerry because they haven't broken down in public. So they aren't all comfortable showing emotion, doesn't make them guilty. All we know at this time is that they are guilty of neglect. That's all. Please don't judge them without the full facts of the case.

I said it was neglect in my post Legend. I do not condone their actions in leaving children.

But people are allowed there opinions answer bank and many other media sources are places to express them, your cannot remove the freedow of speech.
