How do you get rid of yours?

Answering a question in Environment has opened my eyes. We all think we are doing the environment a favour by bagging up the dogs poo and depositing it in tidily in one of the nice red bins- or taking it home and bunging it in the bin.
So what we instantly do is increase the decomposition time from days or weeks to years! The bag has to break down first. And all of this is put into the landfill site!
So whats the answer? Apparently you can get biodegradeable poo bags (hope they last til you get home!!) . Apparently as well you can buy or make dog poo decomposers or flush it down your loo!

hammerman - I'm sorry but dense undergrowth is just the sort of place little boys go running into when you take them for a walk, then it is not very nice when they come out of the dense undergrowth with dog poo all over their trainers, up their legs and even on their hands. I know - I've had little boys.
