Good Morning to all you Linkers. This is Lady Judy (aka JMR27) with my third set of words to be linked. It's hard to believe that there's only one more week to go. As you may have guessed, I am keen on strong themes and partial to quirky links. Some linkers liked the "Punch and Judy" theme of Week 1, since my name is Judy and my links carry a punch! Perhaps I should continue along that line?

This week, I'll give you extra clues to help you on your way.
My theme will be a movie - not of the present day.
Modern cinema's not for me - I favour black and white.
About times when there was dignity and people were polite.

Brief Encounter - undoubtedly my favourite film of all.
The passion of Rachmaninov never ceases to enthral.
The glorious Celia Johnson - the brooding Trevor Howard
And a story well constructed by the brilliant Noel Coward.

Before I digress further - to the business of the day
It's time to give you subtle hints ere we get under way
The film I have chosen was released before the war
A story of pure fantasy with catchy songs galore.

Nominated several times but Oscars it won two
Plus a Juvenile Award - and that's my final clue!
If the title of this film you are unable to divine
Fear not, fellow linkers, I'll let you know at nine!
Question Author
According to normal practice, for the everyday running of MM, I will follow the usual rule on word length as introduced by crofter. Each of my pre-selected link words contains at least four letters and at most eight letters. Stray outside this range and you will be wasting one of your attempts!

Each of the selected link words may go in front or behind my challenge word! The competition will officially close on Sunday Evening at 7.00pm, when crofter will declare my pre-selected words and then apply the same rules for awarding points that have been applied during all MM Link Games in the past.

My third set of four words to have their links predicted should appear below at 9.00am. Happy Linking and Good Luck to you all.
Wizard of Oz perhaps ?
