After working with seekeerz (aka Steff) for over two years, I thought that I knew her every mood. When she expressed a degree of tension when chosen to set the MM Link words, I was taken aback. However it only goes to show how much respect we all have for the game and our fellow participants. Although we all feel relaxed playing the fool, there has been much "serious living" behind each and every one of us!

As far as I am aware, Sunday, the will be as normal and I shall be available for declaring "the scores on the doors"! Everything is prepared for the second week when Princess Stephanie will once again set the words to be linked! Tomorrow morning, look out for the MM Links posting which should open at 8.45am and the four words to be linked declared at 9.00am for Week 2 of our Link Game ~ hopefully with lots of points on offer.

Of course, it will also be the second week for the international version of this same game which is called KM Links (which is organised by seekeerz herself and kicks off at a slightly earlier time. Why not chance your arm at both Link Games? They remain open for most of the weekend and all entries are scored and entered on to master scoreboards.

Until tomorrow, Happy Linking!

Evening all!!! Just settling down to an evening of crosswords, soaps and chatter!
....plus maybe a glass of wine..or two....
what a good idea Pauline,
I will join you, just the wine for me (no bread!)
jan
Hey Jan...my breadmaker is on it's way...I shall make some for the shrubbery next week!
Me too Jan, will pass on the bread!!!
A very uptight tearingevenmorehair popping in to say hello and it's nice to see that everything is normal in the shrubbery.
Why so uptight tearinghair?

Good evening everyone.
So it's wine women and song tonight.
Well, here's a song.............
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nebe1zuEtbc
Guttering being replaced, scaffolding all round the outside of the house, two very stressed cats and one stressed husband (not sure which is the worst!)
Hi x-ray..very good tune!

Definitely the stressed husband tearinghair!!!
Mind you...aren't they always?.... :-)))

Collected 2 daughters from airport last Saturday..they had a week all inclusive in 5 star hotel in Turkey...I had cleaned house, shopped, and looked after their animals all week...and they were tired when they got home!!!
now Pauline are you going to tell the whole story about the house cleaning???

Nice beginnig X rayl. Can i just explain to everyone the reference to Pauline's bread. She made some last week and said it was lovely, but she fed some to the local ducks and all that could be seen was their beaks gasping above the water calling "no more bread" Enough said!!!
I'm not scared!!! Pauline cleaned her whole house ready for girls coming home. She cleaned paintwork etc then sprayed it all with spray polis. Couldn't understand all the smears. Guess what...l. she wasn't wearing her glasses and used fly spray.
Taking cover for a while now!!!!!
Kay, I can't stay long but how much is Pauline paying you not to talk about Hairosols??!!!!!
I remember the song well - wish I could say it was from a previous incarnation, but not so! The pic has cheered me up; at least house will be improved when it's all finished (promised for Monday). In the meantine, I think a glass of supermarket's best would go down a treat. Where did I leave the corkscrew?

J.
Infamy Infamy! They've all got it in for me!!!

Ok Jan....

I own up...I was polishing for return of said daughters...and wondered why furniture had streaked and had an odd odour!...I had used fly spray by mistake...well it was put in wrong place!!
Thanks Jan!!!

I take it you don't want to taste my gluten free bread then Kay?
tearinghair...a few bottles...and it will all seem just fine!!! :-))
I mean glasses of course!
I suppose you now have a wasp-free house Pauline.
If tomorrows link words were based on this threads correspondence so far, the words could well be
WASP
BREAD
WINE
POLISH
Any guesses at the answers ?
