This will be the first week in the reign of The Dinky Duke and I am looking forward to learning more of the incoming Champion. As always, he has taken on the task of setting the links with all the enthusiasm that we have come to expect from our winners. There is usually much to fit in for preparation for the first launch, but this week it has been exceptionally easy! I will be looking out for your predictions when the MM Link Game should be launched by The Dinky Duke, who will set his four words to be linked tomorrow morning at 9.00am.
This week should also mark the return of seekeerz from Oz, who is the gatekeeper for the international version of this same game (called KM Links) and kicks off at the unearthly hour of about 06.30am! It was a tremendous thrill for me, crofter, to win last month's game and to score 4 hits out of 4. However, I think I shall revert to Plan B for the start a brand-new game.
Belated thanks to gen2 & sarumite for covering the absence of seekeerz. Although, we try to be present every single week ~ things do happen that make this impossible and it becomes vital that willing volunteers are ready to fill the gaps!
Talking of gaps, I shall be having a one-week break in Tenerife in the middle of the month and I have been polishing up my karaoke version of "Kingston Town". I also have already been in touch with gen2 to begin planning for substitutions. There's always something going on behind the scenes to keep the show on the road!
As for me, I am Krophta, Keeper of the Rule Book and Sacred Abacus.
I can confirm that I have had an email from Steff/Seekerz and her new computer is behaving well enough for her to resume control over the KM Links game.
Just to get the "laydees" away from their crocheting and tatting, this little piece may get them up and bopping. The volume is low so you will need to crank it up:
Pauline, I had considered it but as it was not after the "9.00 watershed" for the young and those of a nervous disposition I withheld my input, so to speak....
You obviously meant me Strix!!!!!
I hope you are going to put some good music links on tonight, after the ones from 2 weeks ago.
Pauline and I were disappointed last week as there were so few people on the Link so we both hope lots of people join in tonight, new visitors are more than welcomw!!!!!
