I want to quote a couple of verses from Kipling's If in
a book I am doing.Can anyone advise me where I need
to go to check if I need permission to do this?
Have posted this here because I know I shall get a quick
& succint reply from the crossword experts!!

A caveat - quick & succint does not necessarily mean accurate.

Likewise, US copyright law does not necessarily fully equate to UK copyright law...

The good news in this case is that Kipling's works are now out of copyright. You can use as many verses as you like, without restriction or seeking permission.
