MM & KM Links July 2008 [Week 1]

Good Evening AB Linkers, everywhere and welcome to "The Perils of Poor Pauline"! Let me explain.
Last month, there was an epic struggle between Alibobs & AllyLally which resulted in a last-minute victory for ex-champion Alibobs who graciously stood down in favour of first-time winner AllyLally. I therefore embarked on an AllyLally Hunt, however all was in vain as (through nobody's fault) my attempts to make contact were fruitless. It can take about four emails to "train up" a new champion to meet the MM standard (there are tricks of the trade which are divulged only to the select few)!
The clock was ticking and I became desperate. I mean really desperate! With only two days ago I needed a back-up plan. I had to have someone who knew ropes, who can take the pressure and yet would be a worthy Links Setter. I began thinking the unthinkable!
Pauline Ward had held court in my absence, she had an excellent score last month (and missed out on bonus points by only one minute to take her to even greater heights) and I had been saved from the rhymes of "Lady Limerick". She would do a great job!

Him a foreigner to your climes. Poor soul, let me know the empty shard of his corpse is returned to New Sarum.
And as for you, Kay, a mature lady - Lichfield Cathedral and a One Knight Stand - tut-tut - I hope the sheets are of a suitable material.....

Pauline, are you implying that Kay is not up to a little "jitter-bugging" with sarumite on his outing to the distant north?
Then, maybe, as you and sarumite fandango the night away then Kay can retreat to bed with her hottie accompanied by this song:

and do her own little jig around the four-poster as you two get wrecked downstairs!
