I can't stop long ~ I'm running late! All this week I have been spending time doing DIY in the Spare Room trying to remove the Artex from the ceiling! I've just showered and with one eye on the clock I'll press on!
Tomorrow morning brings the start of Round 3 in the Reign of King Wickedtongue and (I hope) a return to the multitude of points that we saw in Round 1. I personally think he has a nice touch when it comes to choosing Themes and Link Words and I still cannot see why the points dried up last week!
Tonight will be especially cold but I believe that the Shrubbery Squad will do their best to brave the elements and be ready for the MM Links Game when it opens at 08.45 and the chosen words to be linked declared at 09.00 tomorrow morning. If you are an early riser, you may like to chance your arm with the sister game (called KM Links) which will be nearly two hours old by the MM launch time! These games are kept open for a couple of days to register your predictions.
Me? I'm crofter keeper of the scores for MM Links! Will newcomer roslyn show the regulars how to make successful predictions once again? Why don't you tune in and find out!
May I just add that seekeerz's computer is playing up so if she hasn't posted the KM launch by 7:00 am, then watch out for a launch by myself. Between us, we'll keep the game going.
quiet on here tonight can almost see the tumbleweed rolling by
I shall have to start singing! that will bring you all out if only to shout shut up at me!
Good evening crofter, gen2 and jan. Have enjoyed some glorious sunshine today but it is quite cold now. Will need a woolly jumper in the shrubbery tonight.
Saw your earlier post gen2 about the AB Ed.
Where did you glean this information from ?
Probably still as elusive as the last one who declines to answer my e-mails.
Re the new AB Ed. There is a new Blog entry that refers to a post in (ahem) 'Chatterbank', so I donned my protection and ventured in and found a post started a few days ago by the new editor and which has resulted in a thread of about 170 responses.
I'm not sure if they were selected as being representative of AB users in general, of if he saw it as a problem area that needed immediate restraint.
Thanks for that - haven't read todays blog from the Ed.
Sounds as if there were plenty of responses.
I'm afraid that chatterbank is a section of AB I seldom visit
Good evening all,
well it's not cold in Rio, 21c this evening!
It seems to be very quiet tonight in the shrubbery, therefore specially for the new AB Editor:
Evening x-ray,
It's all to do with my body clock, which runs about 3 hours behind GMT, I could just as easily be in Greenland, but there it's definitely colder!
It's a hard life, having to watch the Europeans play the Americans in the Ryder Cup, whilst trying to type at the same time.
Hi twix, is that what everybodys doing tonight (watching tv)
Seems very quiet without Pauline and Kay....even Jan has disappeared from the scene. And where is the male contingent. I think strix is in Scotland and aqua is sailing somehwhere.
Must findsome music or booze
Hi, am sorry but won't be stopping with you as my daughter and 2 grandsons have come to stay for the weekend (from Brixham, Devon) and now the boys are settled in bed and we have eaten we are going to sit and chat.
Pauline has gone to see her brother but said she will visit you later.
I like it - more Busby Berkley than Fred and Ginger. Whatever happened to the old flying circuses (probably Ryanair would have added both a fuel surcharge and extra for flying inside the plane)?
