Annie, thats what we are worrie about, as she is so tiny anyway how is she going to put o any weight without the teeth, she does manage to eat some things, but she has a food fobia so its very difficult to get he to eat anything, she likes mc d also kfc but unforunatly she has food poisoning from it now, so the little bit of weight she did put on has not come off, we are fighting a losing battle all the time with her. x
Hi tamirra, I remember you posting about her eating before, so things are not getting any better then? I can't remember what exactly what the issues were, but are you able to maximise the liquid calories she consumes - e.g. milk shakes and pro biotic drinks? My friends little girl was always a good eater and even managed chicken and raw cucumber and carrots without teeth.
Hi Annie, she does have a fair bit f milk during the day, but we were told by the hospital to cut down on the milk as it was prob filling up her little tummy and there as then no room for the food, but she dosn`t want the food she wants her milk and the picky bits of food that she does like, then we see a dietician and she tells us to fry everything that can be fried if she eats it to try and put as much weight on as we can, but she just dosn`t seem to want to eat hardly anything, at the moment as ive mentioned before she is ill at the moment so cant keep anything down, ive bought minadex tonic to hope this will build her up a little, but she looks so poorly she cant even hold her head up as she is so weak, got the docs again Friday, they did say to add water to her full cream milk to make it semi incase she has a dairy intolerance which i personally dont think she has as she would be sick everytime she drank milk or ate a yogurt, wouldn`t she? With her being so small and having runny stools on more than one occasion in the last few months im thinking cealiac, am i thinking wrong maybe,i just dont know what to think anymore im so worried. x
