We are coming up to Week 3 in the reign of Baron Brian and things could hardly have gone better. The launchings have been so smooth and the scoring has been brisk, to say the least. If my memory serves me well, I may have intimated that this would be a five-week month ~ and of course that is not so! There are only FOUR weekends in April and Baron Brian's days are numbered.
Hi twix - sorry got the wrong Wednesday. Although a "southerner" I have no love for Chelsea, completely neutral, so this weeks match was quite a thriller.......... If anything, I wanted Liverpool to suceed (they very nearly did too)
Hi dustybun!...your name reminds me I baked this week!
Got that free cookbook from Sunday Telegraph a few weeks ago..saw a few cake recipes that looked good and set to work!
Now I NEVER bake...and having had a week where my daughter was upset and wanted to house some sick animals over Easter. (she works part time at Pets at Home)..to which I agreed...I was asked if I was having a midlife crisis!!.. as I had taken in sick hamsters..and baked!
Sorry have had 2 phone calls one after the other and then had to take dogs out. It is very quiet on here tonight. Pauline why are you so quiet????? Not like you at all!!!! LOL
Just seen weather forecast for weekend and it looks pretty good so will be off to Car boots.!!!!!
Whoops forgot to "refresh" the page so missed the last few posts. You have been around Pauline.
Could have used your V of R earlier !!!!!!! One of my phone calls was from an old friend, you must remember I have told you about him from years ago....Steve !!!!!
Just over a year ago I gave up all newspapers which meant, of course, no more crosswords. About three weeks ago I treated myself to Mail on Sunday on the way home from church so that my son and I could enjoy a good Liverpool write-up and, just because I could, I did the crosswords. Believe it or not, yesterday I got a cheque for 25 from the You Crossword! I might try that agin next year!! :0)
Well done dusty - think I might give up the crosswords, I do them nearly every weekend, Telegraph and Mail, but have yet to win anything !
Do you get chips you were cooking earlier with that hamster pie Pauline,
Well, I'm off to my bed now - see you all in the morning for the MM and KM links games.
Good night everybody
I am going to see Freddie Starr soon. he is at our local theatre, i am not mad keen on him but a group of us are going.
Sort of Pauline...... Will ring you tomorrow as it's a bit late now.
I am baby sitting tomorrow but first I have a mission....to find a washboard at the Carboot sale !!!!!! Don't think there is much chance!!!!!
