KM Links Game - January 2010 week 2

Good morning everyone !! Would you believe I'm stuck inside for completely the opposite reason to the one keeping most of you likewise - we're in the middle of the third heatwave [ 40 +] in less than a year, and this little nasty will be with us till Tuesday morning. Talk about extremes !!!!

A nice little challenge has been presented for us by Kate today, the words being -

TOUR
EMPEROR

there could be lots of points and then again - well, who knows ??

As usual, anyone and everyone is welcome to join in, the contest closes at midnight Sunday with the results to follow later Monday morning, no worries about word lengths and the last thing on the list is to wish everyone Good Luck and could someone chase up Evsajo and remind her to put in an entry.

That's about it, so now it's off to the races............S

Hello to middlestump and welcome to our bit of fun. I would love to tell you about the scoring but I am a Bear of Little Brain and never remember it but fortunately our Hostess with the Mostest, currently suffering from a heatwave in Oz, not only remembers it but puts it all into action on Monday morning so don't worry about it ~ all will become clear. Thank you for welcoming middlestump to the frivolities - there seems to be quite an influx of new and remembered faces this weekend, I guess it comes with you all [or most] being confined to indoors and keeping warm. Have you managed to venture out yet or is it still blocking up the front door ??? We're still stewing and the a/c is working overtime, but Tuesday looks hopeful - hope this isn't a sign of things to come for summer - I'll be emigrating if it is !!!

Hi Steff - sorry about that. I sometimes forget I'm a wabbit! Middlestump said it was his first try so I thought I'd do a little ad for MM whilst you were in the land of nod. I haven't been out of my house since Christmas Eve and I'm getting a little fed up with it whilst being grateful that I have a little house to be warm and safe in. I fall over in the summer so I have no chance in this lot. Putting my (considerable) weight on Leg no 3 whilst negotiating black ice is not to be recommended. Have to be honest tho', I prefer to be in the cold and keep warm. I couldn't tolerate what you have to put up with. :0)
