As the decorators are working in the grand upper hall, members are requested to take great care when arriving and leaving.

Would the member who engaged the decorators please make themselves known to the Committee ?

Wonder if everyone is thawed out now and we have a few more memberd here tonight.

We're all thawed out up here, but still quite cold and miserable.

Poor old lordalex has taken to his bed claiming 'bad throat, bad chest'. I think he's still sulking about the curling being cancelled.
Perhaps you could nip up and see to him later ? He usually perks up when you visit.
