I usually go to Southern Ireland for a week every year, but because of the euro it is So Expensive out there now - two drinks cost around £13.00. So thinking of Northern Ireland for a change - pick up a car at the airport and just drive until we find somewhere nice. Is N Ireland as pretty as S Ireland and are there lots of little villages with shops and music for the evenings ? If you live there or go there, what parts would you recommend, would we fly to Belfast ?

I like NI better smurf, some fab countryside up on the Antrim coast and the people are lovely, they are in the south too, but I hve only ever been to Dublin which is a large city anyway

Sorry bobbi I know you said Antrim, but anywhere else we can go in our car? We usualy spend a couple of days in each place then move on. x

take a look at this smurf x
From what I've seen of NI it's just as beautiful as the south.

Thanks bobbi, that was really helpful :)
Go up the west coast of Scotland instead. Beautiful scenery, lots of friendly villages etc, and no messing about with planes (especially since that 2nd volcano is about to blow and is going to be a lot worse than the first one).
