As I am not sure whether her Ladyship has returned from her travels in New England, I am happy once again to invite you all to pop in.
There is a large selection of tailcocks on the side buffet table and some warm melton mowbrays pies straight from the aga. That should cheer us on a damp and chilly bank holiday weekend.
I feel turnout will be low tonight, so perhaps any donated items could go into a bran tub instead of the non raffle (that should appease the committee-whoever they are)
My small donation is
3 apostle spoons
and a jar of vegemite.
Got some National Trust beer - 300 Old Beer, Battle of Britain Ale, Rebellion & 16 tubes of that chocolate stuff that comes with instant cappucchinos. Any good?
Hello all, pies are smashing, I shall start on the tailcocks in a mo.
I have brought some old comics for the raffle and a sieve, totally useless it's full of holes.
Hello wazza, are you either mad or over 50? Welcome, mamya will rub some tiger balm into any parts that require it if necessary.
Have a tailcock, I'm on my 5th.
