Good evening everyone, I do hope I have my facts straight and I am due to take the reins again as her Ladyship is on her gallivanting once more (how the other half live eh?)
I have been very busy today and the place is spotless, though some disappointment with the overall look of the knobs and knockers despite excellent help from the 'Home and Garden' section. Still one can but do ones best.
For the raffle I have,
A pack of gold paper doileys
3 yards of knicker elastic
A Scott Joplin CD
and a tin of Mint Imperials
The usual refreshments are on the hall buffet table, plenty of Tailcocks, voltra vons and my specials tonight are crispy Lemon and black pepper chicken fritters with a hummus dip.
Apologies for non attendance received so far, come from ttfn who is partaking of the good country air.
good evening all! sorry I faded out last week - a small crisis at home and I had to return. I have brought a hand knitted cardigan sleeve for the raffle, Alex - you don't need to boggle at knobs and knockers as long as they'te made of brass - the brass kils all the germs.
Good evening all!
I do hope Uncle Joe has accompanied the Aristo's on their jaunt.
I have brought a packet of worming tablets and a chastity belt for the raffle, they may be useful for the more frisky members.
Double tailcock mamya if I may.
I knew what you meant mamya, but you never commented about my mayonnais suggestion..... perhaps we should get Kim and Aggie along to MOFC, they'd soon sort out the lower back mezzazine toilet.
You could be right mamya, he'd fit in well with that lot. You don't think he'd give them any inside info about us?
That could spell trouble (alarm codes, keys to drinks cabinet, how the fridge is stocked).
Dozey, I can assure you the chastity belt was scrubbed with carbolic before I donated it.
Good evening all.Brought some Panini world cup swaps for the raffle... about a million Rio Ferdinands for starters and lots of Japanese and New Zealand guys. Don't suppose many of them were actually AT the World Cup, but we don't let little details like that worry us after our third tailcocks do we?
Oh thank goodness, Miss Meg what a relief - you can't be too careful. I know , Mamya, that a few germs are good for you but some... oh my mind is beginning to boggle at the thought. May i sit down please? I feel quite boggled - or maybe it's the effect of this most excellent tailcock
flicrat, welcome, those stickers were excellent, my boys relived their youth with them.
Why not donate your swaps for the raffle?
Dozey, you may call me meg, I think we have become well enough aquainted.
Another double please, whoever is on bar duty.
oh my goodness, i feel quite weak. I never saw the drawbridge and so I swam the moat to get here - I didn't realise it was half a mile wide - or was I swimming all the way round the noble pile?
Why, thank you, Miss - I mean Meg. That is so kind. I'm feeling better all the time. Mamya, these tailcocks are very good indeed - really hit the spot.... spot? is there a spot?? get the brass out quick!
