Once again good evening to you all, has been a mixed week round about hasn't it? Even the weather is undecided, so maybe our little dose of MOFC madness can restore the equilibrium (that's my new tailcock).
Despite the torrential downpours the flood defences on the moat have held up well, thanks in no small part to the work of trusty Alex, for this he gets employee of the week award.
Not sure if ttfn will be calling as I am sure she is once again at her country retreat, doubtless feet up and a glass of Brandy on a salver close by.
For my contribution to tonight's raffle, I have:
Half roll of Anaglypta wallpaper
3 jars of salmon spread
2 Sporks
and a china figurine of the Tower of Pisa.

Tailcocks and nibbles are on the long buffet table in the gallery which has been treated for the rot and is now back in action.

Getting serious for a minute I saw on a post during the week that you were voted one of the nicest people on this site. That was nice wasnt it, must have made you feel good

Well I was very pleased and then a little let down as people doubted the validity of the poster and I think the post was pulled, but yes was a nice feeling Alex. I have a fun side , a wicked sense of humour and am very caring and try to place my replies as appropriately as possible.

Well I have seen you on various sites giving advice and you come over very well. Personally I like to think I have a good sense of humour and although a bit long in the tooth now I also have a younger side.In fact some people say I should act my age and not my shoesize but I really dont feel old even though next year I hit the big 70. Never thought I would make it!

Its tomorrow Mammy so time I wasnt here, been a funny night but a pleasant one, hope to be here next week and the week after then I am Off to Cyprus for a week to visit relatives. Looking forward to the sun, its been lousy here the last few days. Night, night for now

Aww bless, well I think you are charming and have a great sense of fun too, I have had many ups and downs and maybe that is why I feel I like to help others, it does your soul good. In truth I am not as old as I come over but maybe I have lots of good old fashioned principles and ethics, whilst still finding the modern world exciting and challenging.
You are a lovely man and glad you made it through despite health problems I take it? Not everyone does as I know to my cost.♥

Actually Mamy I have been very lucky apart from Malaria when I was in the RAF(Very mild I might add) I have never had a days illness in my life.I have a checkup every year of course apart from that never visit the docs, just lucky I guess.
