Flicrat the moat is indeed frozen, but would not chance skating on it .

Welcome , flicrat. The moat has indeed frozen. Given sufficient of Mamya's hot ginger brandy stuff, there may even be skating later. The scarves are a very thoughtful gift and will help to cushion us later .

Mike 111111111 the sentry has been dealt with in an abominable fashion. (I've sent him to make a snowman). So if you care to return you will find that admittance can now be gained.
I'll provide a carrot for the snowman's nose ( if the grandchildren left any) but lay off my footie scarves please!

I have applied tiger balm and sal volatile and he is whimpering gently, will get Ellie to retrieve him and we can start to thaw him out.
