Once again, a very god evening and a warm welcome, as I preside in her Ladyship's absence (how the other half live!) Milady has gone a'Beetling, do hope she does not return with any souvenirs as I dread to think how much Rentokil will charge for a weekend call-out!
As you may recall we have quite a backlog of Ruffle prizes and maybe, just maybe we will get round to drawing the Ruffle tonight, the list of prizes are on a roll of Izal pinned up in the understairs loo, do feel free to add any more donations to it.
Anyone willing to give a talk or lecture on an interesting topic, please let me know, otherwise I am sure we can all add our twopennorth as we go along.
Do grab a Tailcock and help yourself to nibbles from the buffet sideboard.
Whoa now, I can see where this is all going here, I am not relinquishing my title or position, they are both well deserved. I shall go to a tribunal if necessary.
That won't be necessary, Mamya. I never want to lose you.
We cannot do without Matron.
I just thought I saw an opportunity of some more help for you with Annesquiffy......as under-nurse, perhaps ? or under under nurse ?
But only, of course, if she agrees to sign up.
Milady - are you on the back foot now or what :o)
I am going to love you and leave you all for tonight. Many thanks to everyone for the great hospitality, as ever. Congratulations to Mamya - it has been lovely to see your true talents recognised and rewarded. I wish you all a very good night, sweet dreams and ttfn till next time ♥♥♥
I don't remember the last time (before tonight) I drove a beetle.....could only have been a slip of a girl.
I can thoroughly recommend it as a general pick-me-up, but one has to be able to tolerate high noise volume.
Well, have calmed down after the Beetling excitement now, so will head for bed.
As it's just us I will confess that the Spot prize that I won was for being the oldest lady on table 21...and it wasn't a close decision. Still, age has it's positives and I have a box of hankies. (Honestly, that was the prize)
Night night, see everyone again next week, if we're spared.
ladyalex :-))
Well at this very late /early hour I must lock up and thank all for yet another wonderful evening, plus a big thank you to the ED for sticky status, what recognition.
