Hi All, I thought I would post to let you know that Sylvia's funeral went well yesterday. Thankfully the rain stopped and the day brightened up. Cathey Johnsons version of The Rose was played as we entered the church which was packed, and Sarah Maclachlans version of Angel on the way out. I must admit that it was that song which really made me cry - I had held up quite well unitl then. The flowers were all beautiful - Sylvia would have loved them. Sorry to be a bit mopey but that's how i'm feeling right now.

That's very kind of you all - I have been amazed by all the messages of support that we have received from all ABers. You really are a special breed!

Oh Welshy, I am glad the clouds parted and Sylvia got her farewell as you wished it to be, Anglesey holds many wonderful memories of my late husband and time we spent there. One of my favourite photos of him is in contemplative mood, sat alone on a rock in a wee cove at Treaddur.

Our memories will never die, take care my love.

Ahh, Mamya, Trearddur Bay - we used to take our lads (noseyparker79 is one) their to wade through the rockpools looking for crabs and shrimps and the like. A very special place in our lives.
Glad the funeral went well. Be mopey as much as you want. I hope you and yours feel you can look on the brighter side soon. Take Care.
Aww bless... it's reminded me of my mums funeral.. she bloody picked 'Time to say Goodbye'.. not a dry eye in the house... I nicked one of the roses in her wreath and pressed it.. So I still have a little bit of mummy around.. just not the bit that berated me...
