Is It A Crazy Time Or What?

My parents heard there was gonna be a storm so they told me to come pick up my siblings. They go to a private school so they don’t go virtual they show up in person. I went and picked them up and brought them to my apartment. We were hanging out for almost 5 or 6 hours after I picked them up when I got a call from my parents telling me that my siblings were going to be out of school. Not even going virtual. So we were there and the power started flickering and we went without power. Luckily I had some candles and board games. We made it through and we had power for about 2 days and it went off again. With the bad weather I couldn’t take them bake home because stupid me doesn’t have a car with 4 wheel drive. So we’ve been hanging out at my apartment and I’ve been missing work. I’ve had my friends bring me groceries and I’ve been paying them at the door. So I’m stuck here with power that could go out again. With my siblings that includes 1 girl that is 15 and 2 twins that aren’t identical that are 10. Their not annoying but they are super bummed out about the power going off so I got a generator about 5 days ago and it was supposed to come in yesterday but it didn’t so now I’m wondering if it will ever come. Anyone else been struggling?

From your previous posts, I assume that you're in the USA. Here in the UK we were hit by Storm Darcy at the start of last week:

(The picture of cars in a ditch was taken about half a mile from my house). However most of the country is now enjoying very mild weather for the time of year, with a sunny weekend forecast ahead and temperatures of around 15 or 16 Celsius (around 60 degrees Fahrenheit).

Looking at the weather forecasts for Ohio, Emily, it seems that the temperature may get back up into the thirties early next week.
Maybe that might thaw the frozen snow enough for you to drive them back home.
We complain a lot here in the Uk, but we don't get the kind of snow and low temperatures that you get up near the Lakes.
We get bored not being able to go out in lockdown, but otherwise we're mostly fine.
I hope your power holds up :o)))

It could be worse, Emily. You could be a Texan turtle ;-)
