I'm not saying I'm particularly eager or desperate to hear her opinion on the matter either, but it's still weird to say that "the silence has been deafening", when as a matter of fact she's made clear that she stands firmly on the side of Ukraine.

Inasmuch as what she has to say is relevant, it's certainly extremely unfortunate that for example Europe has invested heavily in Russian supplies of oil and gas. Even if you took away the obvious link to Climate Change, the sooner we end that dependency the better.

Don’t worry people - the planet is saved.

The “Tyre Extinguishers” are deflating tyres of 4x4s because, according to them, 4x4s are vain and cause global warming (or whatever it’s called this week). They’re also letting down the tyres of electric 4x4s because, they say, they cause congestion (even though in the real world where normal people live a 4x4, electric or otherwise, occupies the same road space as a hatchback).

Their noble and just cause will surely save us.

Greta and her ilk are a good deal responsible for this situation IMHO.

The constant push for net zero meant Europe stopped their mining and oil drilling and bought from elsewhere, to falsy claim they were listening. This has given Putin a huge war chest.

They should hang their heads in shame.

The sooner the West stops listening to those that shout loudest the better.

Global warming is actually a much more dangerous threat to humankind than Putin is.
