To Help You You Understand Why Interstellar Travel Is Probably Never Going To Happen......

AH: "
TTT - If all he's doing is 'some maths', for whatever reason, then it's you jumping to the conclusion that space travel won't happen, and using his video to support your point, which it doesn't.
That makes his video redundant, and your premise incorrect.
Any point to either?" - yes it's my conclusion, care to explain how we may achieve interstellar travel? I guess you have not looked at the video, so impervious is your anti knowledge shield.
TTT - I care just enough to advise you that pointless egotrips by people with a video camera and an inflated sense of self importance are a waste of valuable time.
However, I don't care enough to watch them do it, and then exchange in navel-gazing debate about a future neither of us will experience.
Have a nice day.
TTT, I very rarely say anything is 'impossible'. Have you looked at the link I posted on your other thread?
This thread was about the possibility or otherwise of interstellar travel. I think by gnawing at the 'faster than light' suggestion, you've derailed it which is a pity because it's an interesting subject.
Anyway we are continuing over in the more general thread:

It's ok to go whizzing thru space but you have to have somewhere to go. Finding Earth like planets which are habitable isn't easy:

The fella in the OP's video looks like Chris Lintott co presenter of 'The Sky at night' He also co-wrote Bang! with the late Patrick Moore and Dr. Brian May.
I find it amazing that our nearest Star 'The Sun' Light takes 8mins and 20 seconds to reach us here on Earth. And we're an inner planet of our own solar system.
Tomus - From my perspective, almost every link to one of these talking heads, links to someone prattling on about stuff very few people care about, and this is another one of them.
I usually manage a few seconds, but they never have anything of interest to say, and I find their assumption that they are worth attention is irritating.
Still, takes all sorts as the saying goes.
