Why Can't We Travel Faster Than Light?
....because we are already travelling through spacetime at the speed of light, there is only one speed in spacetime.

Naomi - I am wrong lots of times, and I have no problem admitting it, unlike some ...
But on a more serious note, I do jokingly comment on some of your phraseology in your responses, but that is a world away from the constant endless pointless sniping I get from Roy on almost every thread he sees me posting on.
That's just pointless nasty malice, and unsurprisingly, I won't sit still for it.

If this was a high school debating session, you'd be the annoying wonk at the back shouting out pointless interuptions, because actually, you are not able to join in on the same level

Aye, despite you knowing next to nothing about the subject you have so massively contributed to...you have put clare and TTT firmly in their place.
I hope you haven't put them off trying their best in future debates.

Only in your limited imagination.
Both of them have argued their points extremely well, and I have acknowledged that.

Again, your imagination is at work, if you think two strong posters can be put off by a discussion.
I notice you don't diagree with my asssement of your 'contributions' - but they don't put anyone off either, they are not that important.

// As you're here, would you like to clarify the gender pronoun 'thing' you mentioned? //
I'm afraid it's too far back to dig up easily, and I can't say I want to revisit the thread anyhow, but as far as I remember you were having a discussion with others about, among other things, what my preferred pronouns were, and suggested that said pronouns were "they/them". While I'm grateful that you care enough to try and get it correct, I'm "she/her".
Hope that tidies things up :)
Thanks. I got the impression it was you who wanted to tidy things up as you brought it up on an entirely unrelated thread.
For the record, I couldn't care less what you want to be referred to as and am happy to refer to you by whatever gender affirming or gender denying phrase you wish.
what I was and am still unhappy about is people saying that trying to omit terms such as 'mother' is wrong, and then trying to enforce something very similar on here.
