Is it me or in Mars in the sky at night right outside my bedroom window nowadays?

Yes Mars is clearly visible from UK on clear nights.

It is just to the right and up a bit from Castor & Pollux (Gemini)

You can also find it by going left quite a bit and up a bit from Orion.

It is brighter than the stars around it, orange in colour and doesn't twinkle like the stars.

If you live in Slough, not only is Mars highly visible, but on most days you can also smell it...
