Ghosts and the paranormal
120 Answers
Firstly.... I would like to ask whether there are any of us out there who believe in ghosts and the paranormal?
Secondly......what experiences have you had of this?
Thirdly..........having an experience with a 'ghost' , does this not porve the existence of some sort of afterlife? being trapped in another realm etc etc

To many it's superstitious nonsense, to others it's not.
I believe in ghosts, I believe I've experienced the supernatural twice and that it does prove (to me) there is an afterlife and a maker.
I feel there is truth in the comment that if you believed in ghosts prior to the event then you assume that what happened was ghostly.
I think that most people who say they have seen a ghost are mistaken.
Anyone who wants to laugh at that is welcome to.

There was a little boy at our old house - I heard him running along the landing, I felt him walk beside me and once I heard him cry (which really upset me). Even my husband, who does not believe in anything like this, will admit that he heard him too. It started after our daughter was born - we don't know if it was the introduction of a girl into the house (we already had two sons) or the fact that she was 'accidentally' born in the house that triggered it.
i believe there are "ghosts"
i have seen a dog running at 50mph alongside my car. i have seen a man in period costume. i have had my bed shaken in middle of night.
It may prove it to yourself but will never prove it to those who dont believe. No evidence would ever convince them unless they experience it themselves.
as a member of an investigative team I have yet to see something that we could say is definately a ghost.

1 - Doubtful but I have an open mind.
2 - Not of ghosts, had a couple of incidents of clairvoyance. Nothing significant in terms of an event but enough to satisfy me that there are things we don't yet comprehend.
Depends on your definition of afterlife. If remaining on earth as a spirit for a period is an afterlife then you could say yes but my thoughts would be that if a ghost exists its just an echo or recording of a someone or something. No proof either way regarding an afterlife.
BTW sorry to hear about your health problems Everton, you don't seem like the kind of person who deserves it.

1. I think ghosts (for want of a better word) are a fact of life (no pun intended - I mean it). However, I don't consider what is commonly termed the 'supernatural' to be supernatural at all, and I'm convinced it has no connection whatsoever to any of the myriad of religions the people of this earth follow. In my opinion the 'supernatural' is completely natural (albeit pretty scary at times) and is simply something that science, as yet, is unable to explain............ but given time, I think it will.
2. Too many to relate on here.
3. No it doesn't prove that an afterlife exists, but it indicates to me that physical death may not be the end of our existence.
