I've just looked at the webcam boxtops. A fantastic sight. Do you know if they are expecting the other eggs to hatch?

No tilly - they are too far past the hatch date now. Last year none of the 3 eggs hatched even though they did prove fertile - nobody knows why that happens, unless the chicks inside are not strong enough to hack their way out, the parents don't help them. Survival of the fittest, I guess!

It's always blustery there! and Lady is a very good parent, this is her 49th chick - astounding.
