... but please, don't be 'smug' about Christmas.
There are many who have neither the reason nor the wherewithal to buy presents for loved ones, family or friends.
I believe that Christmas should be a special time to be with the people closest to you or, at least, in spirit.
Have a heart and think of others who may be less fortunate than yourself ♥

I enjoyed it when the daughter was small....I really enjoyed buying for her,and the anticipation of the day.
But since I am on my own-and she has grown up and we have both become quite ambivalent about the holiday-it's no longer fun. It has been a chore the past few years. But this year we've agreed to spend very little,which takes a lot of the pressure off-and it will just be a day to be lazy-and eat and drink together. That's good enough.
