I have always loved them, from infancy through to senility.

I love sprouts :) I lash them in the steamer....i'd highly recommend a steamer.

I did a shop in Lidl on Friday...i'm shopping there for my Christmas treats !

I was so very sorely tempted though...

Apparently giving me a sprout in infancy was on a par with giving me a slice of lemon.

Mum used to boil hers into oblivion then she added vinegar .....blerrrrr !!

Mine weren't very enamoured by them either but love them now they're older and on perma health kicks !

I've always been a glutton for any vegetables ! Think my parents were ever so glad that they could cross that off the list ;)

same with me, 237SJ - except I don't like turkey either. jno jnr usually does a wonderful roast lamb but he will be honeymooning this Christmas.

I agree. I like mince pies; also hot cross buns; they don't have to put the cross on them till near Easter.

I'm not 'doing' Christmas this year, have other plans, but in the main of meals, you can get sprouts and turkey all year round so in that respect I can't see the big deal, I eat sprouts most Sundays with my roast, not a great lover of turkey must admit, I love duck or pheasant maybe
